Global Launch Event: Unveiling GREENBAFx
On November 13th, 2024 we hosted our Global Launch Event for the next generation of bell annealer furnaces – our GREENBAFx®, with 100 esteemed customers and industry representatives from around the world.
The event’s highlight was the grand unveiling of GREENBAFx® at our TechCenter, where guests witnessed the potential of cutting-edge decarbonization technology firsthand. This was followed by a thought-provoking panel discussion from industry experts Dr. Heino Buddenberg (C.D. Wälzholz), Prof. Herbert Pfeifer (RWTH Aachen), Dr. Michael Brühl (Salzgitter AG), and Mark Bula (Blastr Green Steel).
Throughout the Global Launch Event, attendees enjoyed a series of insightful presentations from EBNER experts, a detailed factory tour of our production facilities and the EBNER museum, and a memorable gala dinner at the Schlossbrasserie, creating the perfect atmosphere for networking and exchanging ideas on decarbonization in the steel industry.
