A 100-Year Legacy Meets Cutting-Edge Technology

For almost 100 years, our customer has been one of the most successful producers of tempered steel strip. Their steel strip is used in products such as spiral springs, torsion springs, roller shutter springs, band saws, wood saws, circular saws, and paper blades.

In recent years, many of their production facilities have been upgraded with advanced EBNER technologies. Now, the next step in modernization has arrived.

Our Italian partner has ordered new technological components from EBNER for an existing hardening and tempering line. This line made history 17 years ago when EBNER implemented hydrogen quenching technology (HICON/H₂Q®) on an industrial scale for the first time.
