Mukand Sumi Special Steel Limited continues to rely on EBNER quality

Around one year after the successful handover of the first project phase, Mukand Sumi Special Steel Ltd. has ordered the expansion for the existing HICON/N₂® facility for spheroidization of hot rolled steel wire coils. The scope of supply includes one HICON/N₂® base, one heating bell and one cooling bell. The shared facilities of the first phase have already been prepared for this expansion.

In total, the system now consists of 3 HICON/N₂® annealing bases, 3 heating bells and 2 cooling bells. The surplus of bells ensures that the annealing base capacity can be fully utilized.

This order also reflects the advantages of the modular concept of the HICON/N₂® bell-type furnace system – the facility can be expanded exactly to the expected production.

Because the facility of the first project phase was already prepared for this expansion, Mukand Sumi will be able to use the additional annealing capacity in October 2025.
