Electrical Engineer – Industrial Automation (f/m/d) 

Job Duties: 

• Develop PLC ladder logic to automate industrial equipment and create an intuitive operator interface. Typical programming languages include LAD, FBD, STL and SCL. LAD/FBD experience is required.
• Assist and collaborate in the creation and maintenance of detailed electrical schematics for industrial control enclosures and systems.
• Troubleshoot automation control problems and improve system performance at customer sites.
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical design engineers to develop robust automation and control packages for industrial machinery and machine control.
• Assist and collaborate in the creation of project documentation, such as risk assessments and user’s manuals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field such as Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, etc., or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience with electrical control system programming and maintenance, specifically with PLC and HMI brand platforms; Siemens and Allen-Bradley/Rockwell. Some legacy platforms include Delta, Mitsubishi, and Citect.
• Experience with AC and DC motors, including drives.
• Electrical and control system integration, commissioning, and maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in CAD and ECAD is preferred, but not required.
• Field experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred, not required.
• Ability to travel internationally preferred, not required.
• Ability to multitask, while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

EBNER is now setting up a software engineering team at it‘s facility in Mumbai and is looking for employees for this team. Training and integration within the team would be provided in Linz / Austria.

Software Engineer (f/m/d) – Process Control Systems

Key Responsibilities: 

• Customizing of existing applications and modules for the EBNER PCS “Visual Furnaces^TM“ to fulfill customer requirements.

• Developing and adapting of PCS software modules including user interfaces for customer projects based on standard/existing project and functional descriptions as well as EBNER standard software specifications.

• Developing of software to interface with customers MES systems including clarification / specification of these.

• Commissioning of Level 2 systems on site as well as Technical clarification with the customer. Worldwide comissioning tasks for up to 3 months a year.

• Software specification and design activities documentation.

• Applying and working compliant to the agreed EBNER software development guidelines (coding guidelines, source control, etc.), technical standards and procedures.

• Preparation and execution of proper software testing (e.g. unit testing, functional testing, performance, integration testing) to ensure a high quality of EBNER software solutions.

• 2nd level support for software related issues, especially problem analysis and related bug fixing.

• Preparation and execution of software trainings, both inside EBNER GROUP and at the customer sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical studies (Bachelor / Master degree in software engineering)

• Good knowledge in MS Visual Studio C#, .NET Framework and WPF

• Experience in object oriented and multithreaded programming

• Good knowledge in MS SQL Server

• Experience in developing client/server applications
